Yvonne & James
Both hailed from London but chose to get married in the picturesque Bath countryside at Priston Mill, with both the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast were held
in the in the Watermill. The room was turned round in amazing time by the team expertly led by Helen Davey.
The afternoon ceremony was made even more magical by the many candles that were lit around the room, a theme that continued in to the Wedding Breakfast
and evening ceremony. Guests were served canapés and Champagne after the ceremony before the photographs were taken. An excellent BBQ buffet was later
served whilst overlooking the water before guest again made their way outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.
Yvonne chose to be different by having candles as her table centres rather than a floral arrangement and with the brown and cream colour scheme,
it worked perfectly with the stunning architecture of the Watermill with its high ceiling and exposed beams.
The Jellied Reels, a local but well-known band provided the evening’s Celidh and Barn Dance entertainment, which celebrated Yvonne’s Scottish roots.
They made sure that everyone got up on the dance floor and the partying went on late into the night.
Claire planned the wedding and
although tempted did not take part in the Celidh dancing!
